Environmental fate of graphene oxide in aquatic environment

Publikováno 3. 8. 2021

What is the environmental fate of graphene oxide (GO)—one of the most studied graphene derivatives—in aquatic ecosystem? We found that when we mimic the conditions of a real aquatic environment in the laboratory testing, organisms will successfully mitigate long-term GO’s long-term toxicity, and, therefore, it won’t be hazardous to them. That’s great news opening the door to environmental applications benefiting from the extraordinary properties of graphene oxide. You can find out more about this topic in Tomáš Malina’s presentation.
